The Lagos state governor Akinwunmi Ambode recently threw the State into jubilation, on 26^th of May 2016, when he finally sealed the agreement for the construction of the Lagos 4^th Mainland Bridge. While the jubilation continues, LEKKI PEOPLE magazine brings you 5 facts you must know!

(1)  The bridge will cost N844BN, funded solely by Private partnership. The federal government is not investing financial commitments.

(2)  It will be 38km long, making it the longest of its kind anywhere in the world.

(4)  The bridge will be complte in 3 years time.

(5)  The bridge will be handed over to the state government after 40 years.
