Dangote Group Set to Commence Deep Seaport in Ode Omi, Ogun State

A significant step towards what could become one of Nigeria's most transformative maritime infrastructure projects was taken recently as representatives of the Dangote Group visited the coastal community of Ode Omi in Ogun State to discuss plans surrounding the proposed deep seaport development. 

 The delegation, led by the Managing Director of Infrastructure and Logistics, Captain Jamil Abubakar, paid a sensitisation visit hosted by the traditional ruler of the community, Oba Folailu Adekunle Hassan.


 The engagement underscored the importance of stakeholder collaboration, community inclusion, and sustainable development as preparations for the ambitious project continue. The proposed deep seaport is expected to serve as a major catalyst for economic growth in the region, opening new opportunities in trade, logistics, industrial development, and employment.
