AJAH FLYOVER BRIDGE COMMISSIONED. NOW IN USE.



 Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state has commissioned the Ajah Flyover Bridge for use. 

Lekki People Magazine was at the event which took place on Wednesday 17th of May 2017 and was a much anticipated leap as the people of Lekki/Ajah, are already yearning to see an end to the incessant traffic gridlock which has become characteristic of the area. 

While speaking to the press during the commissioning, the vibrant Governor assured that the new bridge is bound to solve the traffic situation and improve the viability and access to the Lekki Free Trade Zone. He said, “We had to give this project priority because of its strategic importance to the economic growth of the Lekki Free Trade Zone and the Ibeju-Lekki-Epe axis. This axis will play a key role in the future prosperity of Lagos as the home to many multi-billion Naira private investments in the Lekki Free Trade Zone as well as the upcoming seaport and airport.”
Also on the same day, the  Freedom and Admiralty roads were also commissioned as an alternative route to the Lekki/Ikoyi Bridge, thereby, easing traffic at Lekki Phase 1. Eko is working!
