PUBLIC OFFICERS TO ACCOUNT FOR SUDDEN WEALTH – VP OSINBAJO.


The vice president of Nigeria has confirmed that the era of quick and sudden wealth amassed by public office holders is over as every serving and retired public servants shall be made to give account of any sudden wealth they acquired illegitimately. 
The vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) stated this at At a recent  town hall meeting organized by the United Action for Change, in Lagos on Saturday 24th April 2016.
While answering questions from reports at the event held at the Airport hotel, Ikeja, he said “Anybody who can’t explain his wealth must be brought to account. Everyone who has served in public office must account for what they own. This is the change we want Nigerians to support”, he declared, adding that the dream of the Buhari government is to have a “country where integrity is our national culture.”
